Design of emotions

Icon’s is a design company founded in 2016 with the aim of giving free rein to its decorative soul. In recent years, it has focused on the creation of products that have something unique to express. This is how it manages through colors, graphic customizations and the search for materials to offer a range of unique objects, particularly suitable in the contract sector for the setting up of boutique hotels or in the private sector, for all those who want to have a unique piece inside their home. This project where art meets design is nothing more than a natural act of a process of evolution for a company that wants to convey emotions through what it creates.

THE EVENT

“Art Back Home”

ICON’S MILANO / “Art Back Home”

It is called Art Back Home and it is the project with which we begin a unique path of encounter
between design and art, in which the works of the artist Paolo De Biasi are transposed onto pieces of furniture. The innovative element of this initiative lies precisely in the way in which the artist’s paintings are transposed onto the two items provided, a sideboard and a cupboard, since it is not a question of replicating the painting on the piece of furniture with a print, but of a real process of collocation, through which the work finds a new emotional key.

The union between art and design comes to life in the sideboard Diamond Special Edition Art Back Home. In transposing the work onto the sideboard, the balance of shapes and proportions were carefully studied, in addition to the choice of materials and colors, with the aim of respecting and maintaining the compositional balances of the work and the visual and communicative choices of the artist.
